Using a block twill pattern and a linen warp, I wove six rags for my dad to use at work; two of them were used to ruin, three were hardly used at all and one visibly used and salvaged. I consider this project a collaboration with my father.
My father works as a contractor and plumber, something considered very opposite of weaving. I wanted to include my dad in this project because although the mediums are very different, I feel the way in which we both make is not so.
